The Salinas Cowboys baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Mendota Aztecs to 0 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Monday.

The Cowboys (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Carmel (Carmel, CA). The Padres go into the PCAL - Gabilan match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Carmel was overwhelmed by Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA), 4-3, in a non-league match.

The Aztecs (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Riverdale (Riverdale, CA). The Cowboys go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Riverdale ran past Granite Hills (Porterville, CA), 10-3, in a non-league match.
