The South Plaquemines Hurricanes baseball team (Buras, LA), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA)
The Cowboys now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Willow for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 5. Sumner will face a Lions team coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Downsville (Downsville, LA). The Lions record now stands at 4-5.
