The North Polar Bears basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Waltham Hawks to 40 in the Polar Bears non-league victory on Monday.
The Polar Bears now sport a 22-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waltham for a non-league contest on Monday, March 4. North will battle a Hawks team coming off a 64-57 non-league win over Natick (Natick, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 18-3.
The Hawks (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against North (Worcester, MA). The Polar Bears come into the non-league contest with a 20-0 record. In their last contest, North triumphed over King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA), 90-64, in a non-league contest.
