In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights lacrosse squad scored a good 16-6 victory over the Hickory Red Tornadoes.

The Knights now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Community School of Davidson for a Greater Metro/Queen City/Catawba Shores/S Piedmont test on Wednesday, March 6. Lake Norman Charter will face a Spartans squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.

In their next game, the Red Tornadoes face the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills test, on Tuesday, March 5. Hickory will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 7-2 league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC).
