In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Canyon Comanches lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Huntington Beach Oilers.
The Comanches now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Foothill for a test on Thursday, March 7. Canyon will face a Knights squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.
In their next game, the Oilers face the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 6. Huntington Beach will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Sea Hawks come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 4-3 non-league win over JV Opponent (, ).
