The Cibola Cougars softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Eldorado Golden Eagles to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Cibola improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Matadors in a non-league game on Friday, March 8. The Matadors come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 6. Eldorado will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Monarchs come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
