In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Topsail Pirates lacrosse squad scored a good 17-1 victory over the Riverside-Durham Pirates.

The Pirates now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Brunswick for a Mideastern test on Tuesday, March 5. Topsail will face a Cougars squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC) in a DC 6/Northern Lakes Athletic/Central/Mid-Carolina match, on Thursday, March 7. Riverside-Durham will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Knights go into the match with a 1-1 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Vance Charter (Henderson, NC).
