In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Tanner Rattlers soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Decatur Red Raiders.
The Rattlers (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Tharptown (Russellville, AL). The Wildcats come into the 1A-3A Region 8 battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Tharptown was overwhelmed by Madison Academy (Madison, AL), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Red Raiders (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Athens (Athens, AL). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Athens was overwhelmed by Giles County (Pulaski, TN), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
