Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mark Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bell Gardens for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 6. Arroyo will face a Lancers squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Marquez (Huntington Park, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Mark Keppel falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 6. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Ramona Convent won 10-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain View (El Monte, CA)
