The Western Yell County Wolverines softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Caddo Hills Indians to 5 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Western Yell County improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Wolverines host Nemo Vista (Center Ridge, AR) to clash with the Red Hawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 5. The Red Hawks come into the game with a record of 0-2. Nemo Vista lost 21-4 in their recent non-league game against Perryville (Perryville, AR)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Centerpoint Knights (Amity, AR) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 7. Caddo Hills will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
