The Valley Head Tigers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Crossville Lions to 1 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Valley Head improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers host Skyline (Scottsboro, AL) to clash with the Vikings in a 1A Area 15 game on Thursday, March 7. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Geraldine Bulldogs (Geraldine, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 11. Crossville will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
