Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hobbton for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7. Heide Trask will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Dixon falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to battle the Scorpions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. North Brunswick lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against South Columbus (Tabor City, NC)
