The Gaffney Indians softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Wren Hurricanes to 1 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Gaffney improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Indians host Riverside (Greer, SC) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 6. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 1-1. Riverside won 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC)
In their next game, the Hurricanes clash with the Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) in a game, on Thursday, March 7. Wren will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Fury come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 16-14 non-league loss to Laurens (Laurens, SC).
