Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL), 13-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Tornadoes now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aliceville for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 6.

With the loss, Paul W. Bryant falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Stampede travel to Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL) to battle the Patriots in a 6A Area 6 challenge on Wednesday, March 6. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Hillcrest won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Northside (Northport, AL)
