The Riverside Rebels softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Rivercrest Colts to 0 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Riverside improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Rebels travel to Bay (Bay, AR) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 2A Region 3 game on Tuesday, March 5. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 1-2. Bay won 6-3 in their recent league game against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR)

In their next game, the Colts clash with the Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 5. Rivercrest will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bearcats come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Valley View (Jonesboro, AR).
