The South Beauregard Knights routed the visiting St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays softball squad by a count of 8-3 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Knights (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, DeQuincy was routed by Montgomery (Montgomery, LA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Fighting Blue Jays now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to False River for a 1A District 6 battle on Thursday, March 7.
