South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), 11-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, South Caldwell advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Spartans host Enka (Enka, NC) to battle the Jets in a non-league match on Thursday, March 6. The Jets come into the match with a record of 1-2. Enka lost 7-1 in their recent non-league match against Pisgah (Canton, NC)

The Wildcats now have a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashe County for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 5. Draughn will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 1-1.
