The Jackson County Panthers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Jefferson Dragons to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Panthers now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Oconee for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. Jackson County will play a Titans team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Grovetown (Grovetown, GA). The Titans record now stands at 8-3.
With the defeat, Jefferson drops to 4-7 on the year. The Dragons travel to Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA) to play the Raiders in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 6-4. Habersham Central won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Madison County (Danielsville, GA)
