Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA), 56-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Birmingham advances its record to 16-13 on the year. The Patriots travel to Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA) to meet the Marauders in a non-league match on Thursday, March 6. The Marauders enter the match with a record of 27-6. Mira Mesa won 60-57 in their recent non-league match against San Dimas (San Dimas, CA)
The Lightning now own a 19-11 record.
