Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) backers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC), 10-7 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Providence Day improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Chargers host Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to play the Landsharks in a non-league game on Saturday, March 8. The Landsharks come into the game with a record of 3-0. Oceanside Collegiate Academy won 17-2 in their recent non-league game against Chapin (Chapin, SC)

The Mavericks now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Norman Huskies for a non-league game on Thursday, March 6.
