The Pierce County Bears soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Toombs County Bulldogs to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Cook for a 2A Region 3 bout on Friday, March 7. Pierce County will play a Hornets squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Worth County (Sylvester, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Toombs County moves to 4-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Friday, March 7. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
