North Carolina High School Baseball - Crest defeats East Rutherford

March 4, 2025: Shelby, NC 28152

The Crest Chargers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting East Rutherford Cavaliers to 4 in the Chargers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Chargers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Rockets go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, A.C. Reynolds was overwhelmed by West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Cavaliers play the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 5. East Rutherford will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Mountaineers go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to East Lincoln (Denver, NC).
