New Mexico High School Baseball - Rio Rancho holds off Rio Grande

The Rio Rancho Rams baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Rio Grande Ravens to 5 in the Rams non-league win on Tuesday.
The Rams now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bernalillo for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Rio Rancho will play a Spartans team coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Rio Grande drops to 0-3 on the year. The Ravens host Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 2-1. Valley won 17-4 in their recent non-league test against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM)
