Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders (Chula Vista, CA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA), 17-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Mater Dei Catholic upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Crusaders host Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, March 7.
