The Redlands East Valley Wildcats softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Corona Panthers to 7 in the Wildcats non-league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alta Loma for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. Redlands East Valley will confront a Braves team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Braves record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Corona moves to 1-2 on the season. The Panthers host Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Rancho Cucamonga won 20-0 in their recent non-league battle against Claremont (Claremont, CA)
