The Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) lacrosse nudged the visiting Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC), 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Enloe for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 6. Corinth Holders will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-9 non-league loss to Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Wakefield falls to 0-1 on the year. The Wolverines travel to East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to face the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Friday, March 7. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 1-3. East Chapel Hill lost 14-6 in their recent non-league outing against Green Hope (Cary, NC)
