In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting IMG Academy Ascenders lacrosse squad scored a tight 21-17 triumph over the The Villages Charter Buffalo.
The Ascenders (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Canterbury (Fort Myers, FL). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Canterbury held off Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL), 14-9, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Buffalo meet the Grayson Rams (Loganville, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 7. The Villages Charter will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Newnan (Newnan, GA).
