In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA) soccer team routed the host Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA), by a count of 9-2.
Next, the Purple Hurricane battle the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) in a 1A D-I Area 1 contest, on Friday, March 14. Fitzgerald will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
The Royals (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Warriors enter the 1A D-I Area 2 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Jefferson County held off Northeast (Macon, GA), 11-1, in a league contest.
