Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA) and the host Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), saw Commerce's soccer squad knock off Oglethorpe County by a count of 3-1.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Banks County (Homer, GA). The Leopards enter the 1A D-I Area 8 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Banks County by Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA), 6-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA) in a 1A D-I Area 8 battle, on Friday, March 7. Oglethorpe County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Storm enter the battle with a 6-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Elbert County (Elberton, GA).
