Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) and the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), saw Dawson County's soccer squad hold off Lumpkin County by a count of 1-0.

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against North Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Trojans enter the 3A Area 6 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, North Hall was edged by Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA), 6-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Indians confront the Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 7. Lumpkin County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA).
