The Pierce County Bears smashed the visiting Toombs County Bulldogs soccer team by a tally of 4-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Bears face the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) in a 2A Area 1 game, on Friday, March 7. Pierce County will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Worth County (Sylvester, GA).
The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Gators enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Bulloch Academy by Stratford Academy (Macon, GA), 6-1, in a non-league game.
