Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) and the visiting Ringgold Tigers (Ringgold, GA), saw Union County's soccer squad knock off Ringgold by a count of 3-0.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Phoenix enter the 2A Area 7 battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Sonoraville tipped Rockmart (Rockmart, GA), 11-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) in a 2A Area 7 battle, on Friday, March 7. Ringgold will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the battle with a 1-6 record after their 11-1 league loss to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA).
