The Buckeye Hawks softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Kellis Cougars to 2 in the Hawks non-league win on Tuesday.

The Hawks now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Estrella Foothills for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 6. Buckeye will confront a Wolves team coming off a 21-1 non-league loss to Eastmark (Mesa, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Kellis moves to 1-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ) to confront the Fighting Lobos in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 6. The Fighting Lobos come into the battle with a record of 2-2. La Joya Community lost 10-9 in their recent non-league battle against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ)
