California High School Softball - Irvine bounces El Toro

March 4, 2025: Irvine, CA 92604

The Irvine Vaqueros softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting El Toro Chargers to 3 in the Vaqueros non-league win on Tuesday.

The Vaqueros now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trabuco Hills for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 5. Irvine will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, El Toro moves to 1-3 on the season. The Chargers travel to St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA) to confront the Knights in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 6. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 1-1. St. Joseph lost 7-1 in their recent non-league battle against Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA)
