The Florence Buffaloes softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Ellison Eagles to 0 in the Buffaloes non-league win on Tuesday.
The Buffaloes now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. Florence will confront a Eagles team coming off a 15-1 league loss to Bastrop (Bastrop, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, Ellison moves to 0-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Chaparral (Killeen, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a battle on Thursday, March 20. The Bobcats come into the battle with a record of 6-5.
