The Hoover Patriots softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Fresno Christian Eagles to 0 in the Patriots non-league win on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minarets for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 6. Hoover will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 22-17 non-league win over Laton (Laton, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Fresno Christian moves to 0-2 on the season. The Eagles host Sunnyside (Fresno, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Sunnyside lost 9-1 in their recent non-league battle against Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA)
