Arizona High School Softball - Leading Edge Academy - GEC knocked off by Glendale Prep Academy

The Glendale Prep Academy Griffins overwhelmed the visiting Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans softball squad by a count of 20-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Griffins meet the Heritage Academy Heroes (Laveen, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 7. Glendale Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Heroes go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 18-0 league win over St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ).

The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland Prep (Surprise, AZ). The Honey Badgers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Highland Prep toppled Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ), 25-4, in a non-league challenge.
