The Los Fresnos Falcons overwhelmed the visiting Port Isabel Tarpons softball squad by a count of 17-7 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 7. Los Fresnos will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to La Feria (La Feria, TX).
The Tarpons (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against La Feria (La Feria, TX). The Lions go into the 4A Region IV District 32 challenge with a 5-4 record.
