The Mayfield Cubs triumphed over the host Marymount Sailors softball squad by a count of 25-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Cubs meet the Burbank Bulldogs (Burbank, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 10. Mayfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to South El Monte (South El Monte, CA).
The Sailors (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA). The Owls enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Oakwood overcame Pasadena (Pasadena, CA), 26-9, in a non-league challenge.
