With the triumph, Newport Harbor improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Sailors host San Clemente (San Clemente, CA) to play the Tritons in a non-league game on Thursday, March 6. The Tritons enter the game with a record of 5-3. San Clemente won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA)

The Trojans now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Savanna for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 5. University will play a Rebels squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Whitney (Cerritos, CA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-8.
