The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots triumphed over the host North Hills Christian Eagles softball squad by a count of 23-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots meet the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A challenge, on Friday, March 7. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Stallions enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 19-0 non-league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Thomasville was routed by Asheboro (Asheboro, NC), 20-1, in a non-league challenge.
