In Wednesday's non-league bout, the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) baseball team got by the host Walker Wolverines (Marietta, GA), by a count of 4-3.
The Spartans now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Sonoraville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 7. South Paulding will clash with a Phoenix team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Cass (White, GA). The Phoenix record now stands at 4-6.
