Daniel Lions (Central, SC) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC), 11-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Daniel improves its record to 1-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC) to play the Fighting Hornets in a non-league match on Thursday, March 5. The Fighting Hornets come into the match with a record of 0-2. Ware Shoals lost 11-1 in their recent non-league match against Liberty (Liberty, SC)

In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Pendleton Bulldogs (Pendleton, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 6. Liberty will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
