The Jackson Academy Raiders baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Bayou Academy Colts to 6 in the Raiders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Raiders (8-2) will now prepare for their match against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS). The Saints go into the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, St. Andrew's Episcopal was overwhelmed by Lamar (Meridian, MS), 6-4, in a non-league match.
The Colts (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS). The Wolves go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Cleveland Central tipped Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS), 19-9, in a non-league match.
