In Saturday's non-league game, the host Eastern Alamance Eagles baseball team scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Southern Alamance Patriots.
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Chargers go into the Central 3A game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Northwood tipped Lee County (Sanford, NC), 6-5, in a non-league game.
The Patriots (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Tigers go into the DAC-VII 4A game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Chapel Hill tipped Panther Creek (Cary, NC), 5-0, in a non-league game.
