California High School Baseball - St. Francis nips King's Academy

March 5, 2022: Watsonville, CA 95076

St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Sharks host Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a PCAL - Mission test on Monday, March 7. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-1. Monte Vista Christian won 10-4 in their recent non-league test against Christopher (Gilroy, CA)

With the defeat, King's Academy falls to 1-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Aragon (San Mateo, CA) to battle the Dons in a Peninsula - Bay test on Wednesday, March 9. The Dons come into the test with a record of 2-1.
