In Saturday's non-league game, the host Locust Grove Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 12-9 victory over the Pike County Pirates.

The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AAAAA Region 4 game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Dutchtown tipped Westlake (Atlanta, GA), 13-12, in a non-league game.
