In Saturday's non-league game, the host Prosper Eagles baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Madison Mavericks.
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Sachse (Sachse, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record.
The Mavericks (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Reagan (San Antonio, TX). The Rattlers go into the 6A Region IV District 28 game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Reagan tipped Round Rock (Round Rock, TX), 6-3, in a non-league game.
