The Weatherford Kangaroos baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Permian Panthers to 1 in the Kangaroos non-league victory on Saturday.
The Kangaroos (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Plainview (Plainview, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Plainview edged Montwood (El Paso, TX), 9-8, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Horizon (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions go into the non-league match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Horizon edged Monahans (Monahans, TX), 15-2, in a non-league match.
