The Schulenburg Shorthorns baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders to 2 in the Shorthorns non-league victory on Saturday.
The Shorthorns (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Yorktown (Yorktown, TX). The Wildcats go into the 2A Region IV District 28 match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Yorktown gained a win over Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX), 9-6, in a non-league match.
The Crusaders (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Live Oak Classical (Waco, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Live Oak Classical was overwhelmed by Texas Wind (Waco, TX), 5-2, in a non-league match.
